This is a free open-source web-based DevOps lifecycle solution that includes a Git repository management, wiki, issue tracking, and continuous integration and deployment pipeline capabilities.
It features a number of noticeable advantages over GitHub, including the ability to create an unlimited number of private repositories, as well as a built-in continuous integration system.
It has a simple and user-friendly interface. Each view is created to keep the screen from being cluttered with unnecessary information.
In the most prominent area of the screen, it presents the activity in a feed-like format. There's also a toolbar with buttons for filtering the feed by pushes, merge events, and comments.
A menu on the left lists all of the links that will lead you to the various views. For example, a file directory that shows all of the files in that repository, a commit view that shows all of the commits in cronological order, a network and a graph view that show essential data graphically, and so on...
